Saline Removal
At the Permanent Makeup Studio of Virginia we utilize the Saline Removal method to remove or lighten previous permanent makeup. Saline removal is performed by depositing a specialized saline solution under the skin. The saline solution then binds to the pigment, breaks it down and works like a magnet lifting the pigment from the skin through the scabbing process. This procedure creates a temporary wound that has no harmful effects on the body and affects only the specific treatment area.
Final result are not always visible immediately after the appointment. Some clients may require multiple sessions to receive the desired removal or lightening results. Additionally, there is a mandatory 8 week minimum of healing time in between treatment removal sessions.
